Sports Sessions
We support the community with equal opportunity and access for sport and recreational activities. No one should be left behind because of a disability! PEM believes it is possible to remove boundaries, fulfil dreams, enhance self-esteem, and empower youth with disabilities through participation in sport and recreational activities. We organise sessions in football, basketball, floorball hockey, kwik cricket, mini tennis and soft athletics. We also arrange activities such as litter picks, bouncy castle play days, BBQ's, trophy nights and visits to adventure parks when funds allow. We tend to organise events in the Plymstock, Elburton & Morley areas of Plymouth, but welcome any disabled children and their families from any location. We welcome siblings and parents on the field to support their children if it helps.
We publish in advance our planned sessions. You can find this information on this webpage, our private Facebook page and our private WhatsApp groups. We generally meet on the first Sunday of every month 1000-1200 and the second Monday of every month 1700-1800. The venues can change, but we tend to utilise Plymstock School and occasionally Elburton Villa Football Club.
